Hoops and Scoops
Join us for Hoops & Scoops on Wednesday, August 6 in the Conway Library park from 4:30-6 pm to celebrate National Health Center Week! Trails End’s ice cream truck will be there serving ice cream on us, and Family Nurse Practitioner Josie Lamb, APRN will be leading and teaching hula hooping. This year, we’ll also have Latin dance instruction from Billing Assistant Gisella Gambino and a houseplant giveaway!

Color Our World with Tin Mountain: Camo and Colors
Join a Tin Mountain Conservation Center naturalist to explore animal mounts and furs as well as enjoy a book about camouflage animals. Kids will create their own camouflage insect to hide and have other participants find. This is free family event.
Solar Dynamics Observatory - "Cloudy" Date - Event Postponed
Due to the "cloudy" day on August 17th, the event will be postponed to Saturday, August 31st
Solar Dynamics Observatory
Come and look through a Hydrogen Alpha and a White Light telescope to safely view the Sun with Marc Stowbridge. The Hydrogen Alpha telescope will show surface eruptions and features of the Sun. The White Light telescope will show Sun Spots. To preview what you may possible see, check out the link to view "The Sun Now - NADA SDO". SDO stands for Solar Dynamics Observatory, which is in orbit around the Earth.
Family Storytime

Come join Kate under the tent (or in the Ham Room depending on the weather) for a fun family storytime with books, songs, and and activity to tie it all together! Storyhour for the summer will happen on Mondays at 10:30am and will resume the normal schedule with Tessa in the fall!
