Library Park Project

The goal of the proposed redesign of the library park is to introduce a variety of elements that will make the park more useful to the community and allow the library to further carry out its mission, which is:

“To equip every community member in their pursuit of knowledge through collections, programs, and services, fostering life-long learning, community engagement, and a vibrant cultural life in the Valley.”

The Trustees are interested in community feedback and will be scheduling opportunities for members of the public to offer comments about the plan.

The Library was recently awarded a $340,000 reimbursement grant from the Northern Border Regional Commission (NBRC).

The Library is pursuing other grants and private donations to cover the remaining cost, which is approximately $330,000.
