What's Happening

The Conway Public Library is seeking an energetic, outgoing, creative, friendly, and tech savvy team member to provide a high level of service in the Children’s Room.
Voting Systems: Presidents, Oscars, Popes, MVPs & Heisman Trophy ~ In the Ham Room at 6:00 pm In this fully illustrated lecture, Dick Brown will discuss many problems with the Electoral College and the alternatives used in other countries. Also: How are Popes elected? Heisman Trophy winners and MVPs? Oscar winners? What system is used in the U.N?
Legend hunter & author Jeff Belanger will be visiting with entertaining tales starting at 6:00 pm. New England is home to monsters, mysteries, & cryptids of all kinds. This program will delve into the many monster legends Jeff has chased over the years. Be careful… you may just find yourself thinking twice before you take your next stroll through the woods… This will be a night you won't forget! This program is kindly sponsored by the Friends of the CPL.

The Library was recently awarded a $340,000 reimbursement grant from the Northern Borders Regional Commission (NBRC).
