Gambling Addiction

For most, gambling is fun and can be an enjoyable form of entertainment. However, if you find yourself gambling too much, or if it no longer feels like a game, then it could be a problem.

Ed Talbot is the Executive Director of the New Hampshire Council on Problem Gambling. He is a retired corrections administer with expertise in all aspects of organizational leadership. For over four decades, Ed has worked to bring the promise of recovery to men and women whose lives have been disrupted by addiction. His passion for this mission is derived from the gratitude he has for his own recovery from addiction and the blessing that a recovery-based lifestyle has bestowed.

The New Hampshire Council on Problem Gambling is a private non-profit agency created to address the social, financial, and emotional costs of problem gambling. The Council provides information, education, advocacy, and prevention services as well as referrals to treatment for problems gambling to those afflicted, their loved ones, and the community.
