The Conway Public Library will be opening at 10:30 am on Friday, November 22nd.

Meet & Greet Local Author: New Hampshire War Monuments

In honor of Remembrance Week, this Saturday morning, a local author will be giving a presentation of the surrounding New England War Monuments and Landmarks. There will be some personal and historical stories surrounding some of the monuments. As she shows bits of her new non-fiction book, she will explore why our Granite state continues to honor people's sacrifices, memorializing their stories in statues, bridges, buildings and highways.

Kathleen Bailey will have her recent non-fiction book, NH War Monuments and Landmarks: The Stories Behind the Stone available to buy after the presentation. There will be a table set up to buy the author's book where she can sign your copy. The event is FREE. To get a copy of her book, the cost is $23.99. Katherine is accepting only cash at the library event. To help and support our local author White Birch Books, North Conway's local bookstore, will have copies of her book available to purchase.   https://bit.ly/NHMONBOOK
