Hilarious, wildly popular children's author and illustrator Mo Willems has just released a new Pigeon book, The Pigeon Will Ride the Roller Coaster! Families are invited to come to the library for a morning of Willems-inspired fun!

Bring your favorite rocks, mineral, or sea glass for a wire wrapping extravaganza with 4-H. Youth will learn how to create their own wire wrapped jewelry and will be able to bring home their creations. We ask that participating youth be accompanied by an adult. Dixie Lea of Sunshine Yoga will lead yoga sessions every Saturday through the summer (weather permitting) in the library park. BYO mat and a $5.00 suggested donation.

In March of 2022 the Conway Area Humane Society brought us Oreo the bunny, in hopes of bringing joy to the public while making it known that Oreo was available for adoption. Our library assistant director, Jeff Beavers was already a beloved human companion to a cat and bunny, and when he met Oreo he knew that he could potentially provide the perfect home for our furry, bouncy friend. The only question remained; would Oreo and his existing pet bunny (named Bunny) get along?
Kids and caregivers are invited to this free, pirate-themed grande finale event to celebrate the summer reading program, Oceans of Possibilities! Pretend to be a pirate as you hunt for treasure, learn "pirate-speak", and enjoy a pirate-approved picnic.
Teens from Arts in Motion theater group will lead young people and their families in singing and dancing with an ocean-theme. Free, and part of the summer reading program at the library.
