Celebrate Houseplant Appreciation day at the library! Bring in your unwanted, pest-free plants (babies or mature), and go home with another variety of your choice! Please include variety name and care instructions if you have them.
Traditional songs, rich in local history and a sense of place, present, and the latest news from the distant past. They help us interpret present-day life with an understanding of the working people who built our country. Tavern songs, banjo tunes, 18th century New England hymns, sailor songs, and humorous stories about traditional singers and their songs highlight this informative program by Jeff Warner. Children ages 3-5 with their caregivers and siblings are invited to join Tessa for stories, songs, a variety of activities, and all around fun every Wednesday. Free! Some sessions will take place in the library park, so please dress appropriately. Masking for adults and children over 5 is required indoors.
