The Library will have a delayed opening due to a Library's Staff Meeting.
The Library will open at 11:00am.
Salsa Dance Classes
Whitney Pray invites anyone to join this social dancing experience while learning basic salsa steps, and enjoying Latin dance culture. All ages are welcome, and you can come alone or with a partner. The first hour will be instructive, and the rest of the evening will be reserved for open dance and social time. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle. Donations are appreciated but not required. This is a no pressure activity full of fun and great exercise!
Sessions occur this month on Mondays and Wednesdays: 5/5, 5/7, 5/12, and 5/14.
The Silver Circus
Enjoy this Summer Reading Program kickoff event with the Silver Circus! How do you do something as big as a circus when you’re only one person? In The Silver Circus, Andrew explores the concept of perseverance as he is faced with the daunting task of presenting a full circus show all by himself. The show touches on many important themes including, self confidence, overcoming obstacles, control, and dealing with failure. Featuring spectacular magic, juggling, physical comedy, and tons of audience participation, Andrew presents a one-of-a-kind exhibition of skill and comedy.
