Down By the River

Day #1 of a three day series.

The events will focus on the protection and preservation of the Saco River Watershed. The first event will be held in New Hampshire, near the beginning or the watershed, and will conclude near the watersheds termination in Biddeford, Maine.

In the morning, classroom instruction modules will take place, and by late morning these will give way to hands-on field stations. The six field stations would be held outdoors, weather permitting, and will consist of small group sessions focusing on best management practices and emerging technology. There would be no earth disturbance, excavation, etc. By the event's end there would be no impact whatsoever on the lawn/outdoor areas...
