In sports, another method is used to vote for the Heisman Trophy winner and still another for MVPs. Also illustrated will be the unusual systems used to elect Popes and Secretary-Generals of the United Nations.
Mr. Brown taught math for 35 years at Phillips Exeter Academy and is nationally known for his popular lectures on the human side of mathematics. He is the author of many math textbooks, some of which have been used at Kennett and other area high schools.
