July: Once Upon a Story Hour
We are so happy to welcome Miss Honey from "Matilda" to the library for the first time! She will be joining us on the International Day of Friendship, where she will share wonderful stories about exploring friendships. After storytime, we will have an activity to decorate friendship rocks. Always on the last Thursday, at 4:30 PM, Once Upon a Story Hour will be here with a unique visitor and storytime with fun activities.

Introducing the Purple Finch Award! Every spring a new list of nominees will be announced, and readers in grades 3-4 will be invited to vote on their favorite during the following April. Votes can be submitted through either your public or school library.

The Great Stone Face Award will highlight 15 titles chosen by professional youth librarians in the state, based on quality and for readers in 5th-6th grades.
