VEXio Kart

This is a 4-part program, limited to 12 individuals.

Participants who register should plan to attend every week.

Learn how to code in a virtual environment using VEXcode, a block based programming language.

Then build your own VEX IQ racing robot to compete in the VEXio Kart Cup!

Participants will write their own program code to automate their robot racer solving a maze in the shortest time possible.

Adult Clothing Swap

One person's discard is another's treasure!

Tired of the same items in your closet and ready for a change but don't want to spend money? All are welcome to bring what they purge from their clothing collection, and take home what they would like. FREE!

GSA

A Genders & Sexualities Alliance (GSA) is a student-run club, typically in a high school or middle school, which provides a safe place for students to meet, support each other, talk about issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity and expression, and work to end homophobia and transphobia.

Teen Poetry Showcase

All teens are invited to an evening of poetry written and performed by young people in our community. Ages 13-18 are welcome to submit 1 or more original poem choices to Tessa at tnarducci@conwaypubliclibrary.org. The deadline for poetry submissions to be included on the program is Tuesday, November 30 by 5 PM.  Poems should take no longer than 5 minutes total to recite. Following the program, we would like to display poems in the teen area for one month.
