All youth in grades 6-8 are invited to join this group with new book selections each month. Snacks, games, and an occasional book-related movie are some of the fun to be had. Group leader is 12-year-old, Zoe Groves, with the guidance of a youth librarian.

Animals make sounds for a variety of reasons – to attract a mate, to defend their territory, to capture prey, or even to escape predators. Join a Squam Lakes Natural Science Center naturalist and three live animals native to New Hampshire to hear their sounds and discover the reasons behind them.

What is the reason why Americans are becoming increasingly divided today? Author Tony Zore attempts to answer these questions in the American Republic by explaining the views of the Founders and where those views came from in early American history.
