The Writer/Poetry Group, where fellow lovers of poetry are encouraged to come write and read their own poetry or recite poems from their favorite authors. The poetry group will start off with a mini-workshop for about 15 to 20 minutes followed up by short 5 minute readings. Different ways of expression will be explored as the group encourages and supports each other. Short stories are also welcome given they can be completed within the time allowance.

Hidden Mountains: Survival and Reckoning after a climb gone wrong.
The story of a climbing adventure gone wrong in a remote Alaskan Mountain Range, the impossible rescue attempt that followed, and the fraught cost of survival.
Every registered guest will receive a pre-assembled gingerbread house, made by students in the culinary program through KHS career tech. We will provide decorating supplies, and decorators will provide the magic!
This program is free and there will be an opportunity to contribute a donation (optional) to the culinary program at Kennett High School. Registration priority will be given to kids (age 5 or older) , and spots are limited to 18.
