Celebrate spring and design a woodland spring garden in a small square box, which would include a daffodil plant, iris and hyacinth as well as decorative add-ons. Beautiful! Jordan Hewson, owner of Designed Gardens in North Conway will be your guide and provide everything you need. FREE! There is a strict limit to the number of participants (adults). NO EXCEPTIONS. Russ Lanoie will share a slide show and describe his adventures on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Why Vancouver Island? Located off the southwest western coast of Canada it has exceptional beauty and charm and an unusually warm climate. This presentation will provide a brief tour around the Victoria, the provincial capital of British Columbia but focus primarily on the unequaled floral displays of Butchart Gardens that draw over one million visitors from all over the world each year.
Take your children to this annual event to help foster their love of libraries. This year is all about dinosaurs! begin with a story time with special guest, Rory the Dino (from Story Land), and continue on with a book giveaway (thank you Believe in Books Literacy Foundation), face painting with Carol Hanson, a dinosaur dig, a scavenger hunt and more!
