Fall Storytimes
Tiny-Tot Tuesdays: every Tuesday @ 10:30 AM
Join us for a lap-sit storytime for babies and toddlers (0-3) and their caregivers to explore stories, songs, various, and all-around fun. Appropriate for young children and their families. Caregiver involvement is highly encouraged as a way to promote bonding and the modeling of listening, engagement and learning.
Movin' and Groovin' at the Library: every Friday @ 10:30 AM
Join us at the library from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM for an exciting program designed for children ages 2 to 5 and their caregivers! Led by Tessa and Drea, this vibrant experience invites your little ones to dance, stretch, and develop essential gross motor skills while igniting their imaginations in a playful environment. Dress comfortably for movement, and don’t forget to prepare for occasional outdoor adventures, no matter the season!
Please note on the last Friday of each month, the storytime will be slightly delayed and will start at 10:45 AM.

Storytime Guidelines
- Parent/caregiver participation is the key to success of this program. Please join in the activities and show your child it's fun!
- Your child does take cues from you, the adult. During storytime, the storyteller is the main voice. When the storyteller is talking or reading, all other adult voices should be off so the child knows where to focus and what to follow.
- Please leave toys and food behind.
- Making an effort to be on time for storytime will help your child transition into attentive listening and reduce distractions for the larger group.
- If your child is crying or otherwise distracting others, please step out and 'regroup.'
- Perfection is not expected! Children may take a while before being ready to sit attentively in a group. With practice, and adults modeling attentive behavior, they will learn over time. Out goal is to have fun with rhymes, songs, books, and other language-building play.
