Middle School Book Club

All youth in grades 6-8 are invited to join this group with new book selections each month. Snacks, games, and an occasional book-related movie are some of the fun to be had. Group leader is 12-year-old, Zoe Groves, with the guidance of a youth librarian.

Spring Floral Box Design-TO BE RESCHEDULED

Celebrate spring and design a woodland spring garden in a small square box, which would include a daffodil plant, iris and hyacinth as well as decorative add-ons. Beautiful! Jordan Hewson, owner of Designed Gardens in North Conway will be your guide and provide everything you need. FREE! There is a strict limit to the number of participants (adults). NO EXCEPTIONS. Why Vancouver Island?

Russ Lanoie will share a slide show and describe his adventures on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Why Vancouver Island?  Located off the southwest western coast of Canada it has exceptional beauty and charm and an unusually warm climate. This presentation will provide a brief tour around the Victoria, the provincial capital of British Columbia but focus primarily on the unequaled floral displays of Butchart Gardens that draw over one million visitors from all over the world each year.
