The Friends of the Conway Public Library is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. All of the proceeds from fundraising efforts of the Friends support the Conway Public Library. We hope you will consider participating in the following Friends fundraising efforts:

Giving Books, Movies, or Music
Donate your books to Conway Public Library! Bring us your new or gently used books, books on CD, DVDs, magazines, music CDs, and jigsaw puzzles. Unfortunately, we there are certain donations we can not accept.  Please see our guidelines for detailed information. 

Donated materials may be added to the library’s collection if they are needed and if they meet the library’s collection development standards. When a donation is not added to the library's collection, the Friends of the Library may place the item for sale in either their Book Nook Sale or their Annual Summer Book Sale. The Friends generously fund new materials and other projects from the proceeds of their book sales!   

Although we cannot legally place a dollar value on material donations, they are tax deductible.  Be sure to ask us for a receipt noting the number of items donated in order to claim this form of donation as a tax deduction.

Give Money
The Friends of the Conway Public Library encourage monetary donations. Prior to making a monetary gift, please consider whether you would like to specify its use to a particular area of the library (i.e. the purchase of new materials, projects in the Henney History Room, etc.).  All donations are tax deductible.

Raise Money
Do you have a TD Bank account?  If you do, TD Bank will make an annual contribution to the Friends of the Conway Public Library on your behalf through their Affinity Membership Program.  There are no hidden fees - we promise!  Rest assured that TD Bank is contributing the money.  Your money or investments are never affected.  TD Bank only uses your account balances to calculate the amount of the contribution and they keep all your information confidential.

Signing up for the program is easy! 
1. Stop by your local TD Bank branch or call the Conway location at 603-447-6333
2. Say that you would like to enroll in the Affinity Membership Program for the Friends of the Conway Public Library.  Our code number is A2307.
3. That's it! 

The Power of Your Purchase
Throughout the year, the Friends sell a variety of items in order to raise funds including used books and media, Friend t-shirts as well as summer reading program t-shirts, calendars, and pewter ornaments. The Friends also hold raffles and silent auctions featuring art and handicrafts as well. Buying these items is a great way to show your support.

Tribute & Memorial Gifts
Honor a loved one by giving a tribute or memorial gift. This thoughtful way to show your love and admiration adds value to the library’s collection and will be shared with the community for years to come. With your gift, the library selects a book or audiovisual material for its collection in the name of your friend or loved one.  Although we cannot guarantee the purchase of a specific title, every effort will be made to purchase something in the subject area and/or format requested.  

When you make a tribute or memorial donation, the donor receives a thank you, the honoree receives an acknowledgement and a book plate is placed inside the item recognizing the person. All donations are tax deductible.
