No Library Card Needed to Borrow Believe in Books Foundation Red Bags

Preschoolers love these Red Backpacks! Each one holds ten picture books and because they are sponsored by the Believe in Books Foundation, no card is needed to borrow them.  Just fill out your contact information on a registration card at the Front Desk to take a Red Backpack home. Children love to wear them on their backs - just like the big kids going to school! Many thanks to the Believe in Books Foundation for our Red Bags.

Outreach Services

The Conway Public Library visits the following Conway childcare sites for story times on a regular monthly schedule:

  • Children Unlimited
  • Conway Head Start
  • Cornerstone Kids
  • Growing Tree
  • Little Eagles Academy
  • Little Treasures
  • North Conway Day Care
  • Small Connections

If you would like us to visit your childcare site, please contact us!

Parents Corner

Raising your child is a big job.  The resources in our Parents Corner, located downstairs in the Children’s Room, are here to help. However, if you don't find what you need there, the Parenting section upstairs is in the nonfiction stacks at 649 in the Dewey Decimal System.  Just ask a librarian, if you need help.

Readers' Advisory and Reference Services

Looking for book recommendations? Our friendly staff loves Readers' Advisory.  Just tell us what authors you enjoy and we can connect you with the books you will love.  Need help researching a particular assignment or getting information on particular topics?  Ask a librarian!

School Visits

Our Youth Services Librarian welcomes the opportunity to visit classrooms, to tell or read stories, or to collaborate with teachers on projects. Please contact us today to schedule a school visit with a tour of the building, storytelling, and to see all the wonderful opportunities the library offers. And don’t be shy when planning projects and programs. We love to help.

Tour the Library

The library invites all teachers, parents, and community groups to visit our facility. We would be pleased to welcome your group and take them on a guided tour of the library and its resources.  Tours usually wrap up with storytelling or reading out loud.
