Item Loan Periods
21 days; regular fiction and nonfiction in book or E-book form, music CDs, magazines, ILLs
7 days; for popular new releases everyone wants, the telescope and DVDs, Kill-a-watt Monitor
Most materials check out for three weeks (21 days). In order to avoid overdue notices, be sure to note the due date of materials you borrow on the corresponding due date slip. We do not charge fines. We do, however, charge a $5.00 service fee for lost materials in addition to the library's cost to replace the item.
Although the Conway Public Library does not charge fines, we do request that materials be returned by their due date. If you are tardy returning materials and feel guilty, you are invited to donate to our Guilt Alleviation Jar which is kept at the Front Desk.

Online Account & Database Access
You may access your library account from home via the Internet. You will need your library card number as well as a personal pin number. Pin numbers are created in person when registering for a library card. If you need to change your pin number, please ask for assistance at the Check Out Desk.
You also may access certain databases, including downloadable books through Overdrive, from home via our website using your library card number. For more information about our databases, please click here.

Be sure to check the due date for the items you have on loan. Due dates are listed on the slip inside the front of the material. Overdue notification via mail or email is provided by the Library as a courtesy. The Conway Library does not charge fines; however, if you are late returning borrowed items, you can assuage your guilt by adding a small donation to the Guilt Alleviation Jar on the Front Desk.
You may renew materials twice, as long as the item has not been requested by another patron. Since each library is guided by its own rules, interlibrary loan materials may or may not be renewed. Please call us at 603-447-5552, if you wish to renew materials or stop by the library to renew them at the Front Desk.
Materials may be returned to the book drop located at the Check Out Desk inside the library during regular operating hours. The library also has an outside book drop (it's green and looks a bit like a trash can!) on the left as you approach the steps to the entrance of the building from the back parking lot. Please note: Due to the location of the book drop, patrons must park their vehicles and walk to it.
